Donation to Halesworth Carers

The Christmas collection outside the Co-op Rainbow store in Halesworth by the Rotary Club of Southwold & District raised £356. Christmas Swim results

A huge thank you to all who took part in and helped at our Christmas Day swim. We are pleased to announce that you raised over £2700 for our chosen charities. A presentation to the RNLI, Sole Bay Care Fund and the Guide Centre will take place soon. Don’t forget to check out the pictures from the big day here.

Women Who Inspire

We are pleased to announce an exciting new project launched this weekend – Women Who Inspire. Monday 7th April 2014. At this unique women only event you will hear from a number of inspirational women speakers, enjoy a two course supper in the lovely surroundings of the Boardwalk Restaurant on Southwold’s famous pier and hear from local choir Music Vox. Help for the Philippines

In response to the disaster that struck the Philippines earlier this month, the Rotary Club of Southwold and District has sent a Shelter Box and three Water Survival boxes to help the stricken people there.

In addition the club has sent a cheque for £500 to Hope and Aid Direct. This money will be used to contribute to the 3 containers of aid that the charity is sending to the disaster zone. Please contact us if you would like to help.
